Celebs Eating Spaghetti on Instagram

Updated: Aug 23, 2023

They're hot...for pasta.

So there's been an interesting trend on the 'gram lately of (mainly) girls eating spaghetti.

Is this really a thing? Yes it is and don't be boring.

Look. We are the first ones to say that "eating" is not something we see pretty people doing a lot but free-spirited, rocker babe, Caroline Vreeland seems to be eating pasta like it's her job, all with her sapphire blue eyes, dewey skin, and rockin' bod.

And we love it.

Other famous faces seem to be doing it a lot too, like our girl, international Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni, all chill in her Gucci pullover with perfectly blended shimmery eye shadow, glossy red nails and tattoos.

Brands are blending bounty with beauty and getting in on the game with influential faces like Lindsay Wixson and the unstoppable Patricia Manfield as seen here, also not giving a f***.

Ok this is not the first time in history that pretty people eating pasta is a thing. A couple years ago The Gloss published a gallery of Models Eating Pasta in Fashion Magazines.

And back in the days of black and white, bombshells like Sophia Loren and Haley Mills made eating spaghetti sexier than ever.

Dolce & Gabbana have already been all over this for a while, first featuring Madonna pretending to eat pasta and wash dishes in 2009, then again in a recent campaign and collaboration with Pasta di Martino.

But there's something different about it this time. A beautiful woman eating pasta was a cool contrast between beauty and excess and it still is. But now we're getting to see girls like Caroline and Chiara as multi-faceted. Basically, they're less concerned about sexing up the pasta but enjoying it. And that's hot.

Musicians, designers, and moms-to-be, these girls are doing it all and not a bit quiet about it. And why should they be? The strongest influencers across sectors now are those with real life feelings and events mixed in with an admittedly, enviable flair. If their goal is to connect in spite of their yacht picnic from last Tuesday, it certainly becomes easier when when we know they are humans like us, with the same secret desire to inhale spaghetti like it's going out of style.
