Cannes Film Festival 2023 Selection

The Annual Cannes Film Festival takes place from 16 to 27 May 2023. On 15 April 2023 the final selection was announced by the committee.


Each part of the festival is categorized in three main parts, COMPETITION, UN CERTAIN REGARD, and OUT OF COMPETITION. Other categories include MIDNIGHT SCREENINGS and the CANNES PREMIERE that showcases a selection of filmmakers who will be screening for the first time at the festival.


Some of the standouts and familiar names include James Mangold's Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese, both from the the OUT OF COMPETITION category, Asteroid City by Wes Anderson who is in COMPETITION, and even Pedro Almodovar with the short film Extrana Forma De Vida in SPECIAL SCREENINGS.
