Milan, the Italian fashion capital, strikes again. After "Fuori Salone", "Piano City", "Book City" and "Fuori Expo", get ready for "ApritiModa", an open door event on October 21-22 2017 featuring the hottest Italian fashion maisons.
Fondazione Ferre' and Laboratori della Scala will also participate, revealing mysteries of fashion, sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development, Milan's City Hall, the National Chamber for Italian Commerce and Altagamma Foundation. The goal? To allow people to get a look behind the scenes of the techniques that makes "Made in Italy" a badge of excellence, and to spread knowledge and awareness, garnering appreciation for the fashion industry. Every maison offers a unique presentation which best conveys their vision.
The two day event looks to involve students of Milan's universities and fashion schools, who will help host visitors. Fai and Fondo Ambiente will also take part in the project with historical information about the buildings used to host the event, all captured via video by Sky Arte.
