There's always a certain buzz in the air during Fashion Week in Milan and our dip into #hoganclub presentation by Hogan was nothing less than...electric.
This SS16 Women's Fashion week in Milan had me and the CGC team in and out of a lot of different events and into a lot of different looks, but almost everywhere I went, my Hogan's came too.
Going between shows is like a quick palette cleanser: you rush off discussing what you've just seen, what you are about to see, and what you need to do about it, and for a moment, you remain in the madness outside before you're struck by a fresh mood.
Walking into the #hoganclub presentation we were struck, not only by the glowing bolts of electric light juicing up the dark space, but by the post-punk rock and roll, glitter and glam that surged an edgy 80's attitude. Full of saturated colors, animal stripes, metallics and platforms as far as the eye could see, you felt like you were being transported to a secret VIP room backstage at a rock concert, where only members are allowed...a club.
A vintage underground vibe was touched off by pinball machines, cool mini-burgers, and models who were more like actors, drawing you in, and back to a time when rock and roll meant more than ripped jeans and spikes, it was new era, it was a revolution, it was electric.
