SOCIAL BITE | Lily Hetzler...loves oTTo

Updated: Feb 10

With the advent of every fresh fashion season, there are new and returning faces like Lily Hetzler, an American freelance stylist and designer from New York, who after three years of working fashion week in New York, Paris, and Milan, has become one of the regulars in the Milan fashion circuit known for her work with Dolce & Gabbana and her American workwear brand Nativen. Find her at some of the poshest parties chatting just as passionately about precious jewels and politics as she does about the right canvas for the next piece she is designing for her own line.

Where is your favorite place to go for a quick bite or a little treat when you’re on the go? oTTo

What do you get there? Cappucino and the tart of the day, which is lovingly made in-house.

Why is it so good? The relaxed vibe, open plan, and collection of well-curated greenery make it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of Milan work-life. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is simple and delicious. Plus, they host weekly movie nights.

When is the best time to go? Mid-week, in the morning or early afternoon.

How did you find this place? It’s a bit hidden, on a side street off of Milan’s Chinatown strip. A trusted friend was generous enough to share it with me.
