Top model, musician and boy about town, the dreamy Stefano Sala tells City Girl where he likes to snack in Milan.
One of the hottest models of the moment and singer in the rock band The Crocs, with which he published his third album, Stefano Sala is a 100% Italian beauty raised in Gravedona, in the province of Como. He appeared in TV in the program of Milli Carlucci “Ballando con le stelle” with his girlfriend, the well-known model Dayan Mello. The two have a beautiful daughter together, Sofia, whom Stefano calls "bubu" in his popular @stefanosalaontheroad. In 2015 he was also a finalist on the Rai ice-skating show “Notti sul Ghiaccio”. Stefano catwalked the most important runways of the world like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Diadora, Franklin&Marshall, Tom Rebl, Guess, Gaudi and John Richmond and has been the face of many important advertising campaigns.
Where is your favorite place to go for a quick bite or a little snack when you’re on the go? Gelato? Piadineria? Mercato?
The place where I like to snack when I come back to Milan is the California Bakery in Corso Como. I also like to stop in Eataly for a quick lunch with a piadina romagnola.
What do you get there?
During the afternoon, I usually choose a nice slice of red berry cake with whipped cream, a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and a carrot, apple and ginger centrifuge. At lunch I like to eat a piadina. I love raw ham with cheese, tomatoes and tartar sauce.
Why is it so good?
It’s one of those places where you feel always at home. What is more, I love to look at those counters full of desserts.
When is the best time to go?
I usually go there around 16:30/17:00 but also around 19:00 after the gym when I want to treat myself with a special something.
How did you find this place?
When I got back to Milan after having been in London, a model friend invited me there for an American coffee. From that day on, I never stopped going.
