A traditional stop in to the Hogan presentation with Editor-in-chief, Melissa Lupo during Women’s Fashion Week Milan.
At Hogan headquarters in Milan, I returned to my brand "fam” to find a fresh aesthetic in a space designed to evoke a modern architectural feel. The Hogan Spring/Summer 2024 collection presentation had a smoother than usual style, calling on the brand’s heritage design elements incorporated into a contemporary narrative, recognizable by the brand’s current focus and campaign, #GenH.
A focus on timeless style and a touch of sophistication was expressed in HOGAN H-STRIPES SNEAKERS, featured with pastel trim on grooved platforms or in all white leather with a contrasting H signature. The ubiquitous “effortlessly cool” vibe was carried throughout the collection including modular, coordinating pieces like slim bomber jackets and tailored trousers and shorts.
A refreshing, neutral color palette dominated the entire collection like sage greens, calming pink and blue pastels, buttermilk creams, chocolate brown, and touches of black accents throughout.
I attended the event in a casual and City Girl neutral look, so a bit of black, a touch of metal, and a little edge. I put together pair of oversize jeans with off-set buttons, a vintage vest and purse, heavy chain stone necklace, a diamond “R” (IYKYK) earring and another of a moon and star, finished with silver slip-on close-toed heels peeking through.
